Unlike common BPO services that have developed in India and in the Phillippines, Komsan Consulting understands how integral of a role Customer Service plays in setting a precedence for a company's image, and in turn, its ability to develop and grow.

While in the 1990s India had the first-mover advantage of cheap labour, the Philippines quickly capitalized on a gap in the market by providing companies with a higher quality service that India was unable to provide as we moved into the new millennium. Their English was more clear and they were more accustomed to providing a higher level of hospitality which customers appreciated.

Over the years India moved into the back seat of BPO services filling Back-End Roles like Accounting and Tech Maintenance, while the services in the Philippines moved into a Front-End role speaking with clients directly offering Customer Support via Telecommunications. During these times the world's leading tech companies like FAANG (Facebook, Apple, Amazon, Google) embraced both country's services as their operations grew globally at a level that far outreached what they could afford to manage internally due to time efficiency and budgeting purposes.

In today's era brought on by this globalization, tech development has shown no signs of slowing down, and the demand for BPO Services is as high as ever. As the world turns, how is the BPO Industry developing with it, and is the demand being met?

While creepy that your computer or mobile device may show advertisements of hotels in Thailand when you were just searching the internet for things to do there, you might be willing to overlook that minor discomfort if the advertisement found you a hotel you were considering at a significant discount or of a place you might not have found otherwise.

As a hotel business you want to be sure that if you are 1 of 50,000 hotels in Thailand how do you ensure your hotel shows up first so that people find your hotel above your competition, and if getting the best advertising spot is a matter of money, are the larger name brand hostels who are willing to pay more money going to make it impossible to compete?

Instead it will show budget friendly hostels and hotels that are more suited to them. If they drink it may show them party hostels, whereas is their GPS notices they never leave home they might be shown hotels that offer cheap single bedrooms with a single or double bed.

While online marketing may help people discover your business, there will always be similar competing services that are fighting to earn the same customers that you are, so what will sway those people to decide to choose your businesss over that of another?
